Blog entry #18- Write about a time in your life where you’ve been rescued or you have rescued someone else.
Poem #22- Based of the blog assignment above, write a poem how you felt about being rescued or rescuing someone.
Class notes:
- Rescue From Without happens on the journey’s return home
-Example- The Little Mermaid- when she fights Ursula to save everyone Ursula had transformed and Ariel changed them back.
-Rescue from Without, the unexpected hero can be yourself.
-The hero might not really be accepted when he or she returns, and something intervenes to help the hero become ready to return home
-Hero has very little energy left
-Save the Last Dance- Julia needs her male friend to help her reach her goal
-Color Purple- Celie and Shug Avery seem to rescue each other
